Krewe of Left Feet

The Krewe of Left Feet is Pensacola Mardi Gras’ smallest and most original krewe, and has the only human-powered float in the Grand Mardi Gras Parade.

The Krewe of Left Feet is a father and daughter team of Michael and Sara Williamson that started on bicycles in 1999 in the Krewe of Wrecks Parade on Pensacola Beach. This dynamic duo and has been part of the Pensacola Grand Parade for well more than a decade.

The Krewe of Left Feet parades in a custom six-wheel, three-pedal float, and has been a crowd favorite for years.

The Krewe is the home of Pensacola Mardi Gras’ own original super hero, “ Panty Man.” Panty Man is the most photographed man in all of Mardi Gras on the Gulf Coast, and has been featured in newspapers, magazines and television shows from Pensacola to New Orleans.

Being in the Pensacola Grand Mardi Gras Parade is the closest thing you will ever do to being a rock star, and because of this, each year the Krewe of Left Feet brings two guests to participate in the parade with them so that others might experience the madness that being part of this parade creates.
