The Krewe of Calypso was formed in 2025 by ladies who shared a love for the excitement of Mardi Gras, and who wanted to share the fun of island vibes and good times with great friends. Our goal is to make great memories, share friendship, and work together to uplift women and children in our community who need our support.

About Krewe:
Calypso is a small size krewe with approximately 20 fun loving members. Our parade float is tiki style, and our debut parade will be the 2026 Pensacola Beach Parade. Our members have long standing ties to the community, Mardi Gras, and to the incredible people in this wonderful place we get to call “home”.
Details:
Look for our ladies in their calypso blue and lime green island style dresses, or their hula skirts. You will recognize us by our leis and flowers! Please come say hi and accept a lei as our gift of friendship to you!

Events:
Calypso hosts an annual luau to support local vendors and to raise support for needs of women and children in our community. You can expect an island style menu, island games, raffles, great entertainment, and LOTS OF FUN!
