Pirates of Lost Treasure

The Pirates of Lost Treasure, based on Perdido Key, was formed January 9, 1992 as a social group dedicated to fun, parading on our grand float, the Bloody Bucket, and community involvement.  We participate in many activities throughout the year, ranging from Relay for Life and beach cleanup campaigns, to greeting snowbirds and supporting the annual Frank Brown Songwriters Festival.  Our primary mission however, is supporting our charity organization, Secret Santa.  Each Christmas Secret Santa provides food, clothing and toys to needy local families, as well as other worthwhile causes during the year. For Christmas 2012, Secret Santa supported 52 families and 150 children.

About Krewe:

The Pirates host golf tournaments, pot lucks, road rallies, our (in)famous Mardi Gras Flotilla parade on the Intracoastal Waterway, and a food booth at the Flora Bama’s International Mullet Toss, to name just a few activities where they have fun.  You’ll also see them at Pirate Fest, Kick Off, and other festivities in the area.  February 9th 2019 the Pirates will hold their 25th Annual Flotilla where well-decorated boats participate, starting at Holiday Harbor Marina and ending up at the Flora Bama where prizes will be awarded to best decorated boats with live music Johnny B and Lucky Dogs band and red beans and rice furnished by the Flora Bama. Good times and fun!  February 23rd 2019 they will hold our 27th annual Mardi Gras Ball at the Pensacola Beach Hilton – awesome night where their King and Queen for 2019 will be crowned.  They are a Mardi Gras Krewe out of Perdido Key. Their theme is pirates and our float looks like a pirate ship. They support Secret Santa which provides Christmas for 100 plus local children.
