Krewe de los Muertos

History:

Established in 2011, Krewe de los Muertos began with the belief in celebrating their ancestors.  Their first Mardi Gras was 2012.  Taking inspiration from the tradition and pageantry of  Dia de los Muertos, or Day of the Dead, they dawn distinctive sugar skull make up and attire.

About Krewe:

Celebrating all year, this Krewe, not only celebrates in Pensacola parades, but also holds their own events throughout the year in order to help raise awareness and funds for the local historic cemeteries, helping to preserve the community history.

Details:

Krewe de los Muertos – Day of the Dead – a time to celebrate and honor deceased ancestors and loved ones.
