Parade Application

Under this section, PMG requires some information about your organization in order to confirm your registration for this event, as well as keep you up-to-date on the latest news.

 Indemnification and Hold Harmless Agreement

Under this section, we need confirmation that you understand that in exchange for the right to participate in the Pensacola Grand Mardi Gras Parade, your organization agrees to have read and agreed with the 2022 Rules and Regulations and the COVID-19 policy.

Vehicle Application

Under this section, we need a vehicle application for every vehicle that is being used to pull a float/trailer, or participating in the parade. A legible photocopy of both your driver’s license and current insurance is required for this application, or else you will not be allowed to participate. An accurate description of your car is also needed. State law requires each operator of a towing vehicle to be responsible for seeing that their trailer is property secured and safety chains are provided (Florida Statute 316.530).

Vehicle Driver Indemnification/ Hold Harmless Agreement

Under this section, we need confirmation that in exchange for the right to participate in the Pensacola Grand Mardi Gras Parade (“the Event”), or any event produced by PMGI, the driver for your organization agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the City of Pensacola, Pensacola Mardi Gras, Inc. and related entities.  The individual signing this document should be the driver that is operating the vehicle the day of the Parade. Please have your driver’s license available to be presented at line up check-in.

Payment

Under this section, please select the options you intended to enter the parade with. Each float you submit will require four spotters, and any walking krewes (up to 20) will require four spotters per 10 participants. If you choose to add any small motorized vehicles, there is a minimum of 4 and a maximum of 10.

Indemnification and Hold Harmless Agreement

In exchange for the right to participate in the Pensacola Grand Mardi Gras Parade (“the Parade”), the undersigned, a duly authorized representative of the above organization, an organization participating in the Parade (“the Organization”) a condition to participate in the Pensacola Grand Mardi  Gras parade, held on February 26, 2022, to: 

  1. OBEY ALL INSTRUCTIONS GIVEN BY PARADE OFFICIALS, MARSHALLS, AND THE CITY OF PENSACOLA POLICE DEPARTMENT; 2. OBEY ALL LAWS FOR THE PROPER OPERATION OF A MOTOR VEHICLE*, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, NO DRINKING OF ALCOHOLIC  BEVERAGES OR BEING UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF MIND ALTERING SUBSTANCES; 
  2. BE AT THE ASSEMBLY POINT NO LATER THAN 1:00 P.M. ON February 26, 2022. 
  3. I HAVE FULLY READ AND HAVE PROVIDED MY ORGANIZATION WITH A COPY OF THE RULES AND REGULATIONS
  4. I HAVE FULLY READ AND HAVE PROVIDED MY ORGANIZATION WITH A COPY OF THE COVID POLICY

We understand and agree that if we do not comply with the, 2022 Rules and Regulations of the parade, and the instructions given to us by parade marshals, officials, or the City of Pensacola Police Department, our participation in the parade will be terminated and we will not be permitted to continue in the parade. 

In exchange for the right to participate in the Pensacola Grand Mardi Gras Parade (“the Event”), the undersigned, a duly authorized representative of thr above organization, an organization participating in the Event (“the Organization”), agrees to have read and agreed with the 2022 Rules and Regulations and to indemnify, defend, and hold the City of Pensacola, Pensacola Mardi Gras, Inc. and their shareholders, officers, directors, and employees harmless from any and all claims, demands, causes of action, losses, damages, fines, penalties, liabilities, costs and expenses, including reasonable attorneys’ fees and court costs, sustained or incurred by or asserted against the City of Pensacola and Pensacola Mardi Gras, Inc. arising out of activities as a parade participant of the undersigned Organization and any of its representatives or individual participants, including the operation or management of the Event. This agreement shall include the negligence of the City of  Pensacola and Pensacola Mardi Gras, Inc. This indemnification and hold harmless agreement shall be governed in all respects under the laws of the State of Florida.

*If your organization is pulling a float/trailer you must fill out and complete a Vehicle Application and provide PMGI with all required documents. State law requires each operator of a towing vehicle be responsible for seeing that their trailer is property secured and safety chains are provided (Florida  Statute 316.530). 

** Late Applications are subject to a late fee at the discretion of PMGI. A charge of $125.00 may be charged in addition to the application fee. ***All Motorized Vehicles MUST meet insurance requirements per Rules and Regulations. 

Pensacola Mardi Gras Vehicle Application

This Vehicle Application MUST BE completed for any Pensacola Mardi Gras, Inc.(PMGI) event where a vehicle is being used to
pull a trailer/ float or that will simply be driving in any of the PMGI events.


**We must have a legible photocopy of all Licenses and insurance information. No one will be allowed to drive or pull a float without providing these documents.

State law requires each operator of a towing vehicle be responsible for seeing that their trailer is property secured and safety chains are provided (Florida Statute 316.530).

In exchange for the right to participate in the Pensacola Grand Mardi Gras Parade (“the Event”), or any event produced by PMGI, the undersigned, who is the driver of that certain vehicle, as mentioned hereinabove, and/or a duly authorized representative of the above organization, an organization participating in the Event (“the Organization”) agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the City of Pensacola, Pensacola Mardi Gras, Inc. and related entities, all agents, employees and
volunteers of said organizations from any claim or expense of whatever kind or nature arising out of activities as a driver of that certain vehicle, as mentioned hereinabove, and/or a parade participant of the undersigned Organization and any of its representatives or individual participants. This indemnification and hold harmless agreement shall be governed in all respects under the laws of the State of Florida.

***The person signing this documentation is the person driving for the day of the Parade. Please have your license available at line up check-in.

Payment

First Float: $425.00 (4 Spotters per float required per float) 

Additional Floats: $355.00 (4 Spotters per float required per float)

Walking Krewe: $355.00 (4 Spotters required per walking krewe) up to 20 participants 

Additional Walking Krewe: $155.00 (4 Spotters required per walking krewe) (for each additional 10 people)

Small Motorized Vehicle: $155  ($125 each unit with a minimum of 4 units maximum of 10 units)
